Abel Ashworth Rugby player

Abel Ashworth (birth registered April–June 1864 — 10 January 1938 (aged 73)) birth registered in Ashton-under-Lyne district, was a rugby union footballer of the 1890s, playing at representative level for England, and at club level for Oldham, as a Forward, e.g. Front row, Lock, or Back row, he died in Oldham. Prior to Tuesday 2 June 1896, Oldham was a rugby union club.
