Abraham D. Mattam Cleric
Abraham D. Mattam, C.V. (born November 21, 1922) is a bishop of the Syro-Malabar Catholic Church.Mattam was born in Narianganam, India and ordained a priest on March 15, 1950 from the religious order of Vincentian Congregation (Institute of Consecrated Life). He was appointed Archiepiscopal Exarch of Satna on July 29, 1968. He was appointed bishop to the Syro-Malabar Catholic Diocese of Satna on February 26, 1977 and ordained bishop on April 30, 1977. He retired from the diocese on December 18, 1999.
