Ádám György Musical artist

Ádám György (born in 1982 in Pomáz, Hungary) is a professional pianist, and his music career started at age four. While he was studying under Katalin Halmagyi, he was accepted to the Béla Bartók Conservatory of Budapest in 1994. György won the National Youth Piano Competition in 1998, and also, won the Hungary’s Pianist 2000 award two years later. From 2000 to 2006, György attended in the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, and studied under professors György Nador and Balázs Reti. Currently, he continues to study at the Franz Liszt Academy, and is pursuing his Ph.D. He is also a director of the Adam György Castle Academy and teaches piano to students. On 8 June 2012 he played the piano at the opening ceremony of the UEFA Euro 2012 in Warsaw, Poland.
