Al Worley American football player
Al Worley was an American football player who played defensive back for the University of Washington Huskies from 1966-68. Worley was a named a Consensus All-American in 1968, when he set an NCAA record of 14 interceptions in a season, tied in 2014 by Gerod Holliman of Louisville. Notably, Worley accomplished this feat in only a 10-game season, while Holliman played a 12-game regular season plus a bowl game. Worley later played briefly in the Continental Football League.
