Alan Bircher Athlete

Alan Bircher (born 21 September 1981) is a British long-distance swimmer. He currently swims for the Wyre Forest Swimming Club (WYRM), where he is the head coach and works alongside Stefanie Biller. Bircher narrowly missed out on a medal in the World Championships in 2007 in the 10 km open water swim, finishing in 8th place just 6 seconds behind the medal positions.
