Alberto Rodríguez Football player

Alberto Rodríguez Barrera (born 1 April 1974) is a Mexican football defender, currently playing for Cruz Azul Hidalgo. He has been capped for the Mexican national team, and he was an unused substitute at the 2002 FIFA World Cup. He start his career with the UNAM Pumas, but he moved to the Pachuca Tuzos in 1994. After a short period when he moves to the Monterrey he come back to Pachuca to become the Capitan of the Team and lift 3 National cups, and 1 CONCACAF Champions Cup. His best goal with Pachuca is the last one. He score it in the Copa Libertadores 2005 against Boca Juniors in Hidalgo Stadium
