Aleksandr Vladimirovich Mostovoi (Russian: Алекса́ндр Влади́мирович Мостово́й [ɐlʲɪˈksandr vlɐˈdʲimʲɪrəvʲɪtɕ məstɐˈvoj]; born 22 August 1968) is a Russian retired footballer who played as an attacking midfielder.Known as El Zar from his lengthy spell at Spain's Celta de Vigo, he was often referred to as a 'genius playmaker' during his time there, in addition to a volatile temperament.
