Alex Teixeira Football player

Alex Teixeira Santos or simply Alex Teixeira (Brazilian Portuguese: [aˈlɛks teˈʃejɾɐ]; born 6 January 1990 in Duque de Caxias), is a Brazilian attacking midfielder, who currently plays for Shakhtar Donetsk. He started his career with Vasco da Gama making his debut for the senior team at the age of 18, before moving to Shakhtar in November 2009. His debut for Shakhtar came on 20 March 2010. He has been capped at Under-17 and Under-20 level for Brazil.
