Alexander Fiske-Harrison

Alexander Rupert Fiske-Harrison (born 22 July 1976) is an English author and journalist, playwright, actor and producer. In 2008 he wrote and acted in The Pendulum in London's West End. In 2010 he was named "the bullfighter-philosopher" by The Times of London for his research – theoretical and practical – into bullfighting for his book Into The Arena: The World Of The Spanish Bullfight which was shortlisted for the William Hill Sports Book of the Year Award 2011. He is also well-known for bull-running and in 2014 he co-authored and edited Fiesta: How To Survive The Bulls Of Pamplona, which caused headlines around the world when one of the contributors was gored by a bull soon after publication. He is a producer at Mephisto Productions, and is currently working on a documentary about the Spanish matador Cayetano Rivera Ordóñez with director Stevan Riley, with whom he also collaborated on the Marlon Brando documentary, Listen To Me Marlon, for Universal Pictures.Since 2014 he has been a non-executive director of British investment bank Fiske plc.
