Alfred Young Cricketer
Alfred Joseph Karney Young (August 1, 1865 – January 5, 1942) was an English first-class cricketer. Born in Victoria, British Columbia, he played one first-class match for Kent in 1890, scoring a total of ten runs. Wisden described him as having "special skill in placing the ball off his legs and late cutting". He later became a resident magistrate in Cape Town, South Africa, where he died aged 76.
