Alison Fanelli
Alison Fanelli (born April 26, 1979) is an American former actress who is best known for the role of Ellen Josephine Hickle on the television series The Adventures of Pete & Pete.Fanelli was born in Northport, New York. Alison attended Northport High School where her talents were on display for the Powdered Wigs Drama Department, and as a percussionist for the Northport High School Drumline.She is a 2001 graduate of Baltimore's Goucher College, where she earned a B.A. in pre-med, and Dartmouth College, where she earned a master's degree in Health Care Improvement. While at Dartmouth, Alison was a project manager for a web based project to develop a secure online datebase for the Institutional Review Board, IRBnet.Fanelli is also an accomplished oboist, and has three siblings: one older sister, and two younger brothers.One of her brothers is Christopher Niosi, creator, owner, and writer (among other things), of the online web series T.O.M.E. (Terrain of Magical Expertise). In which she did the voice acting for the character of Splat, a villainess with slime based powers. Her character's powers inadvertantly reference her background in Nickelodeon television, which is well known for it's green slime.
