Allan Weiss

Allan Neil Weiss (born Nyack, New York, February 25, 1959) has spent his career as an innovator in the areas of asset pricing, asset allocation and risk management. In 1991 he co-founded Case Shiller Weiss, Inc. and served as its CEO from inception to its sale to Fiserv in 2002. CSW is the creator of the Standard & Poor Case-Shiller Index. Weiss co-founded MacroSecurities in 1999. In 2006 he founded Market Shield Capital, LLC and served as its CEO until 2012. Mr. Weiss founded Weiss Residential Research LLC in 2012 to create house specific home price indexes, automated home valuation systems and provide customized residential real estate research and advisory services.
