Allie Thunstrom Ice hockey player

Allie Thunstrom (born April 20, 1988) has been a member of the United States national women's ice hockey team since 2010. She won a silver medal at the 2010 Four Nations Cup contested in St. John's, Newfoundland. She plays also for Minnesota Whitecaps, a professional women's ice hockey team in the Western Women's Hockey League (WWHL). In 2012 Allie switched from hockey to speedskating in order to purse her Olympic dreams. After competing in the 2014 Olympic Trials and missing out on the team, she is still today competing in hopes of reaching the 2018 Winter Olympics. Allie currently trains in Roseville, MN with the Midway Speedskating Club.
