Amal Karunasekara Military person
Major General Amal Karunasekara RSP, USP, psc is the Commander of 53 Division (Sri Lanka) and Director Military Intelligence and Infantry of the Sri Lanka Army.Major General Amal is a product of Nalanda College Colombo. He was a Senior Cadet at the school Cadet platoon.He has the honour of being the Commander of first-ever Sri Lankan contingent of troops for the United Nations Peace Keeping Operations that was sent to Haiti in 2004.
