Amanda Fazio Politician
Amanda Ruth Fazio (born 23 August 1954) MLC, an Australian politician, is a member of the New South Wales Legislative Council representing the Australian Labor Party. While Fazio was elected to the Council on 30 August 2000 by the Labor Party and continues to serve representing Labor, for a period during 2010 Fazio was suspended from the Labor Party and remained in the Council as an independent member. Fazio was President of the Legislative Council from 24 November 2009 to 3 May 2011, and since 3 May 2011 has been opposition whip in the Council.
