Andronikos Kontostephanos Military person
Andronikos Kontostephanos Komnenos (Greek: Ἀνδρόνικος Κοντοστέφανος Κομνηνός; ca. 1132/33 – ca. 1195), Latinized Andronicus Contostephanus, was a major figure in the Byzantine (Eastern Roman) Empire during the reign of his uncle Manuel I Komnenos as a general, admiral, politician and a leading aristocrat.
