Angelo Di Livio Football player

Angelo di Livio (born 26 July 1966 in Rome) is a former Italian football midfielder. He was known as soldatino (little soldier) or soldatino Di Livio during his playing career, a nickname his teammate Roberto Baggio gave him because of Di Livio's characteristic way of running up and down the flank. An experienced, combative, reliable and tactically versatile player, Di Livio was capable of playing on either flank, both as a wide midfielder, or as a fullback. He was known for his stamina, work-rate, tenacity, man-marking, and crossing ability.
