Arie Slob Politician

Arie Slob (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈaːri ˈslɔp], born November 16, 1961 in Nieuwerkerk aan den IJssel, South Holland) is a Dutch politician and former history teacher. He has been a member of the Dutch House of Representatives for the ChristianUnion (ChristenUnie) party since November 19, 2002. Since April 28, 2011 he has also been both Party leader and Parliamentary leader, in both cases succeeding André Rouvoet. He focuses on matters of the Royal House, security, constitutional rights, infrastructure and fishery.
