August Neo Athlete
August "Ago" Neo was an Estonian wrestler and Olympic medalist. Neo competed at the age of 28 for Estonia in the 1936 Summer Olympics in Berlin, Germany and won the silver medal in the Freestyle Light Heavywight competition and the bronze medal in the Greco-Roman Light Heavyweight match. Neo's achievements at the Games were underscored by fellow countryman Kristjan Palusalu, who won two gold medals in wrestling events.
