Babacar Gaye Military person

Babacar Gaye (born 31 January 1951 in Saint Louis, Senegal) is a Senegalese Army General who is currently the United Nations Secretary-General's Special Representative and Head of the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA). Prior to this appointment of 16 July 2014, he was the Special Representative and Head of the United Nations Integrated Peacebuilding Office for the Central African Republic (BINUCA).
