Benedikt Höwedes Football player

Benedikt Höwedes (born 29 February 1988) is a German footballer currently playing for Schalke 04 in the Bundesliga. On 23 July 2011, he became the captain of FC Schalke 04. He is considered to be one of the best defenders in Germany.
