Benjie Bollox Musical artist
Benjie Bollox (born 1972) is an Anglo-American musician, photographer, and songwriter. He is known for his dry and witty humor, pranks, and love for Wild Irish Rose as well as his classic SEX (boutique) attire, blonde spiky hair and mischievous smile. He is also an avid collector of anything concerning The Damned, and English punk rock. Bollox is also known for his involvement as a member of Riot Squad, U.K. Subs, Splodgenessabounds, The Visitors, and a handful of other local bands in Dallas, Texas, or the United Kingdom. He performed live on stage with his band The Visitors in the film The Anarchist Cookbook. He also played a heroin addict in the film Upside Downtown, and as himself in the documentary DFW Punk. He was also a model for a Dallas Texas based clothing and record shop, Last Beat Records, which also was an indie record label and released albums from such bands as Baboon and Fireworks. Bollox now lives in London, England, where he spent a part of his early childhood, taking photographs and writing a book about the Sex Pistols. He occasionally "reunites" with old band mates for live performances.
