Bernard Samuel Politician
Bernard "Barney" Samuel (March 9, 1880 – January 12, 1954) was a Republican politician who served as the 116th Mayor of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, from 1941 to 1952. He was the last Republican to serve as Mayor of Philadelphia (as of 2014).
