Billy Ivison Rugby player
William "Billy" Ivison (5 June 1920 — 12 March 2000) born in Hensingham, Cumberland, was an English professional association football and rugby league player of the 1940s and '50s playing club level association football (soccer), for Gillingham F.C., and playing representative level rugby league for Great Britain, England, Cumberland, and British Empire XIII, and at club level for Workington Town, as a Loose forward/Lock, i.e. number 13, during the era of contested scrums, he died in Hensingham, Cumbria.
