Blake Wheeler Ice hockey player
Blake James Wheeler (born August 31, 1986) is an American professional ice hockey right winger and an alternate captain for the Winnipeg Jets of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was drafted by the Phoenix Coyotes in the first round, fifth overall, in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft. Wheeler was born in Plymouth, Minnesota, but grew up in Robbinsdale, Minnesota.
