Bob Broome College coach
Robert William "Bob" Broome (September 16, 1916 – June 19, 1959) was the eleventh head football coach for the Appalachian State Mountaineers located in the town of Boone in Watauga County, North Carolina from 1956–58. From 1955 to 1956, he coached Appalachian State's baseball team.
