Bren Simmers Scientist
Bren Simmers is a Canadian poet. Her debut collection of poetry, Night Gears, was released by Wolsak and Wynn in October 2010.Born in Vancouver, she studied writing at the University of Victoria and has a master of fine arts in creative writing from the University of British Columbia. She is a past winner of the Arc Poem of the Year Award and has been shortlisted for the Bronwen Wallace Memorial Award, and her poetry has been published in journals across Canada.
