Brent Burns Ice hockey player
William Brent Burns (born March 9, 1985) is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman currently playing for the San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League (NHL). He has also played for the Minnesota Wild, during which time he was converted from forward to defenceman. During the 2012–13 season, he began playing again as a forward for the Sharks. After the 2013–2014 season, the Sharks announced that Burns would switch back to defence for the 2014–2015 season.
