Bryn Knowelden Rugby player
Brindle "Bryn" Knowelden (27 June 1919 — 16 April 2010(2010-04-16) (aged 90)) born in Barrow-in-Furness, Lancashire,Brindle was an English professional rugby league and association football (soccer) footballer of the 1940s and '50s, and coach of the 1950s, playing at representative level for Great Britain, and England, and at club level for Barrow, Warrington (captain), and Hull Kingston Rovers, as a Wing, Centre, or Stand-off/Five-eighth, i.e. number 1 or 5, 2 or 5, or 6, and coaching at club level for Hull Kingston Rovers. He also played association football (soccer) for Morecambe, and Liverpool (Reserves), he died in Blackpool.
