C. L. Whittington College coach
Columbus Lorenzo "C. L." Whittington (born August 1, 1952) is a former American football player and coach. He served as the head football coach at Prairie View A&M University for one season in 2003, compiling a record of 1–10. Whittington played college football at Prairie View A&M from 1970 to 1973 and then with the Houston Oilers of the National Football League. He is currently the wide reciver coach at Hallsville High School.
