Carol Schmidt Politician
Carol Schmidt (German: Karl-Ferdinand Alexander Schmidt; June 25, 1846, Bălţi - March 9, 1928, Chişinău) was a Moldovan politician. He served as mayor of Chișinău (1877–1903). He is considered one of the best mayors Chișinău ever had.
