Caroline Lind Athlete

Caroline Lind (born 11 October 1982 in Greensboro, North Carolina) is an American rower and debutante. She competed at the 2008 Summer Olympics, where she won a gold medal in women's eight as the seven-seat. She graduated from Phillips Academy in 2002 and Princeton University in 2006. In 2003 she became a national debutante, at The National Debutante Cotillion and Thanksgiving Ball in Washington, D.C. In September 2008, along with other U.S. Olympic athletes, she appeared on the world's biggest television talk show; the Oprah Winfrey Show hosted by U.S. television magnate, Oprah Winfrey.. Lind pursued an M.B.A. with an Accounting Concentration at Rider University, in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. The degree was granted Dec. 2010 and she achieved Beta Gamma Sigma. Caroline is training for the 2012 Olympics. She was a member of the w8 Boat for Worlds 2011 in Bled, Slovenia where they won gold. At Fall NSR 2011, she and Elle Logan won long course in the W2- event.
