Charles Whitney Basketball player
Charles "Hawkeye" Whitney is an American former professional basketball player and convicted criminal. After playing college basketball at North Carolina State, he was drafted by the Kansas City Kings in the first round of the 1980 NBA Draft. His professional career was limited to 70 games due to injury, and by 1989, Whitney was homeless and addicted to cocaine.
