Christian Streich Sports manager

Christian Streich (German pronunciation: [ˈkʁɪsti̯an ˈʃtʁaɪ̯ç]; born 11 June 1965) is a former German footballer and current manager of SC Freiburg of the Bundesliga, the top level of German football. On 29 December 2011, he was named manager following the release of former manager, Marcus Sorg. Because of his immediate success at the club and his enigmatic and, oftentimes, energetic personality, Streich has been called a "cult figure", a "firebrand", and a "football philosopher".
