Christoph Ahlhaus Politician

Christoph Ahlhaus (born 28 August 1969) is a German politician. He is a representative of the German Christian Democratic Union which he joined in 1985. He was the mayor of Hamburg from August 2010 to March 2011.Ahlhaus was born on 28 August 1969 in Heidelberg, Baden-Württemberg. He is married and studied law at the universities of Heidelberg, Munich, Berlin, and Speyer.From 7 May 2008 to 24 August 2010 Ahlhaus was state minister of the Interior in Hamburg. On 25 August 2010 he became First Mayor of Hamburg. Christoph Ahlhaus was critical of the Green Party during his tenure as Mayor of Hamburg.
