Cyrus B. Lower Military person

Cyrus B. Lower (February 28, 1843–May 21, 1924) was a Private in the Union Army and a Medal of Honor recipient for his actions in the American Civil War. Lower joined the army from New Castle, Pennsylvania in October 1863. Three weeks after the Battle of the Wilderness, he was captured, but escaped the following month and was transferred to the 190th Pennsylvania Infantry. He was discharged in June 1865. He died May 21, 1924 and is buried in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia. His grave can be found in Section 17 Lot 19971.
