Daniel Vallverdu Tennis player

Daniel Vallverdu (born March 17, 1986 in Valencia) is a former tennis player and part of Tomas Berdych's coaching team since 2015.Vallverdu started hitting with Andy Murray following his split from Miles Maclagan in 2010 and became the Scot's de facto coach after he parted company with Alex Corretja in March. Vallverdu organises practice sessions and liaises with Darren Cahill and Sven Groeneveld - coaches Murray has been working with recently - as well as his strength and conditioning staff and physiotherapist. Quiet and unassuming, Vallverdu scouts opponents and helps devise tactical plans. Despite his relative youth, he is known for his professionalism and in-depth knowledge of the game.Vallverdu worked actively alongside Ivan Lendl, since Lendl joined Team Murray in 2012. Vallverdu was also selected to coach the British men's tennis team for the London Olympics 2012, in which Murray went on to win the Gold medal for Team GB.In December 2014 world number seven Tomas Berdych appointed Vallverdu as a coach for the 2015 season.
