Darcy Regier Ice hockey player

Darcy John Regier (born November 27, 1957) is a Canadian professional ice hockey executive and former player. Regier was the general manager of the Buffalo Sabres of the National Hockey League from 1997 until 2013. Regier played 26 games in the NHL for the Cleveland Barons and New York Islanders as a defenceman. Regier joined the Sabres in 1997 and became the longest-serving GM in Sabres history. In 2014, he was named the assistant general manager of the Arizona Coyotes.
