Dave Esser Football player

Edward David "Dave" Esser (born 20 June 1957) is an English-born footballer who played as a midfielder in the Football League in the 1970s and 1980s.He started as a trainee with Everton in 1975 but did not play a senior game for them and moved to Rochdale in July 1977, going on to make 199 senior appearances for them (scoring 27 goals). He left Rochdale in the 1981–82 season and went to play for APOEL in Cyprus.He also played for Ashton United.
