David Gould Athlete
David Ian Gould, OAM (born 19 April 1965) is an Australian wheelchair basketball player. He was born in Adelaide. He was part of the Australia men's national wheelchair basketball team at the 1984 New York/Stoke Mandeville, 1988 Seoul, 1992 Barcelona, 1996 Atlanta, and 2000 Sydney Paralympics. He was the top point scorer at the 1988 Seoul Paralympics. He won a gold medal as part of the winning 1996 team, for which he received a Medal of the Order of Australia. In 2000, he received an Australian Sports Medal.
