David Mitchell Football player

David Mitchell (Born 29 April 1866 in Kilmarnock) was a Scottish professional football player who was best known for his time with Rangers. Mitchell joined Rangers from Kilmarnock in September 1889. He was Rangers captain and won two Scottish Football League championships, three Scottish Cup, four Glasgow Cup, two Glasgow League and one Charity Cup. He also gained five Scotland caps. He retired in 1900 and moved to Denmark to coach.
