David Thorpe

David Thorpe is the Executive Director of the Pro Training Center in Clearwater, Florida. Thorpe, a University of Florida graduate, also works for Scouts, Inc.[1]Thorpe got his start as a high school assistant coach. Then went into personal training in the early-to-mid 1990s, training some of Florida's top high schoolers. He started the Pro Training Center as his work began to include more collegiate and professional players. His students over the few years include: Udonis Haslem (Miami Heat), Kevin Martin (Minnesota Timberwolves), Luol Deng (Cleveland Cavaliers), Tyrus Thomas (Charlotte Bobcats), Courtney Lee (Boston Celtics), Earl Clark (New York Knicks), Jrue Holiday (New Orleans Pelicans), DeJuan Blair (Dallas Mavericks), Rob Kurz (Chicago Bulls), Nick Calathes (Memphis Grizzlies), Daniel Santiago (Efes Pilsen, Turkey), Marc Salyers (Roanne, France), Corey Brewer (Minnesota Timberwolves), Joakim Noah (Chicago Bulls), Omri Casspi (Houston Rockets), Yi Jianlian (Dallas Mavericks), Curtis Jerrells (San Antonio Spurs), Tony Gaffney (Boston Celtics), Reggie Williams (Charlotte Hornets), Gal Mekel (Dallas Mavericks).Residing in Clearwater, Thorpe is married (since 1990) and the father of twins. He also owns a viszla dog. [2]
