Derick Heathcoat-Amory, Viscount Amory, KG, GCMG, TD, PC, DL (/ˈeɪmərɪ/ AY-mər-ee; 26 December 1899 – 20 January 1981) was a British Conservative politician and member of the House of Lords.He served as Chancellor of the Exchequer between 1958 and 1960, and later as Chancellor of the University of Exeter from 1972 until his death in 1981.
