Derrick Schofield Rugby player
Derrick Schofield (January→March 1928 — 25 August 1999 (aged 71)) born in in Rochdale, was an English professional rugby league footballer of the 1940s and '50s, playing at representative level for Great Britain, England, and Lancashire, and at club level for Rochdale Hornets (twice), Halifax, Castleford and Dewsbury, as a Wing, or Second-row, i.e. number 2 or 5, or, 11 or 12.
