Didier Gigon Football player

Didier Gigon (born 10 March 1968 in Biel/Bienne) is a Swiss former footballer who played as a midfielder during the 1980s 1990's and early 2000s.Gigon started playing professionally with his local side FC Biel-Bienne in 1986 before moving to Neuchâtel Xamax in 1988. In 1991, he signed for Lausanne Sports then moved on to FC Basel in 1993. Two years later, he returned to Neuchâtel Xamaxwhere he played for three seasons. During the 1998/99 season he played for Sing Tao of Hong Kong and Portugal's F.C. Alvercabut failed to adapt in both countries and returned to Switzerland late in the season to play for Neuchâtel Xamax for a third time. Etoile Carouge signed him in 2000 and he retired in the summer of 2001.He earned one cap for the Swiss national team in 1990.
