Dominic Raiola American football player

Dominic Raiola (/ˈdɒmɨnɪk raɪˈoʊlə/; born December 30, 1978) is an American football center who is currently a free agent. Raiola most recently played for the Detroit Lions of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the University of Nebraska, earned All-American honors, and was recognized as best college center. He was a second-round pick of the Detroit Lions in the 2001 NFL Draft, and has played his entire pro career for the Lions. Increasingly, he has come under scrutiny for dirty plays and for using foul language against fans and others. In January of 2015, Raiola was informed by the Detroit Lions that he would not be re-signed for the 2015 season.
