Donald F. Glut

Donald F. Glut (/ˈɡluːt/; born February 19, 1944) is an American writer, motion picture director, screenwriter, amateur paleontologist, musician and actor.He is best known for writing the novelization of the second Star Wars film, Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back.
