Douglas Kell Scientist

Douglas Bruce Kell CBE FLSW (born 7 April 1953) is a British biochemist and Professor of Bioanalytical Sciences in the School of Chemistry at the University of Manchester, based in the Manchester Institute of Biotechnology (MIB). He was formerly Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC) from 2008-2013.
