Edmund Beswick Rugby player
Edmund "Ted"/"Teddy" Beswick (birth registered July→September 1858 in Penrith, Cumberland — died 23 January 1911 (aged 52) in Salford, Lancashire) was a rugby union footballer of the 1880s, playing at representative level for England, and Lancashire, and at club level for Swinton, as a Three-quarter, i.e. Wing or Centre. Prior to Tuesday 2 June 1896, Swinton was a rugby union club.
