Ellie Daniel Swimmer

Eleanor ("Ellie") Suzanne Daniel (born June 11, 1950 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) is an American swimmer and olympic champion. She competed at the 1968 Olympic Games in Mexico City, where she received a gold medal in 4 × 100 m medley relay, a silver medal in 100 m butterley, and a bronze medal in 200 m butterfly. She received a bronze medal in 200 m butterfly at the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich. She is currently a prosecutor with the Los Angeles County District Attorney's office. She is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania.
